WHAT TO DO IN MALLORCA IN THE SPRING
Spring is here! And it's one of the best seasons to visit Mallorca. As it arrives, the weather becomes milder, the days get longer and there are more outdoor activities to enjoy.

Visit the almond blossom fields. The fields of the Part Forana in Mallorca are bathed in white at springtime, and it's a real sight to behold. The almond trees blossom also during the spring, creating a stunning visual display in the island's countryside.
Hiking or trekking in the Serra de Tramuntana. Located in the north of the island, the Serra de Tramuntana was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO due to its stunning natural beauty, landscape and heritage. Cycling. No cyclist, whether a novice or a professional, can dispute the wealth of breathtaking cycling routes the island of Mallorca has to offer. In particular, the Serra de Tramuntana, which is considered one of the most impressive cycling spots in Europe. More than 100 km that take you from Pollença to Andratx, passing by Puig Major, the highest point on the island, and travelling through beautiful villages such as Sóller and Valldemossa. Once in Pollença, you simply mustn't miss the route to the Cap de Formentor, which offers unique, spectacular views.
Playing golf. Mallorca's great climate makes it possible to play golf on the island practically all year round. However, spring is undoubtedly the favourite season for golf lovers, and there are numerous golf courses that offer an exclusive, private atmosphere, and courses with plenty of challenges.

Enjoy the Easter festivities and cuisine. Easter is greatly celebrated all over the island of Mallorca. During these festivities, tradition takes to the streets. Most of the island's villages hold impressive processions and many churches stage the descent of Christ from the Cross, popularly known as "Davallament".
