Andreu Genestra
At just 15 years old, Andreu Genestra began his culinary journey, taking on his first responsibilities in a seaside hotel kitchen. Years later, he became the youngest chef in the Balearic Islands to earn a Michelin star, a testament to his talent and unwavering dedication.
His career includes time at prestigious kitchens such as Mugaritz and Ferran Adrià’s El Bulli. Genestra has cooked in London, Stockholm, Brazil, Moscow, Paris, Miami and Kuwait for the Royal Family.
In April 2011, he opened his own restaurant at the Predi Son Jaumell Hotel Rural in Capdepera, earning his first Michelin star shortly after. In 2020, he received the Green Star, further cementing his reputation as a leading figure in Spanish gastronomy.
